The Women’s Premier League seized its first auction on February 13th.
Here are the live and fully updated squad and squad lists for all five teams of WPL 2023. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriors.
A total of 449 players were able to win up to 90 slots. A minimum of 15 slots and a maximum of 18 slots were available for all five teams in the WPL auction. Each of them had a budget of Rs. 12 crores to assemble the team. A side can select up to 7 foreign players for the auction, including 1 associated player.
Smriti Mandhana made her mark in history by becoming the first player in the women’s premier league history to be auctioned. She was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 3.4 million.
