Grammy Awards 2024: Fusion band Shakti wins Best Global Music Album award for ‘This Moment’
India celebrated with pride when band Shakti, led by singer Shankar Mahadevan and Zakir Hussain, won the Best Global Music Album award for their new album. ‘This’, at the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Other nominees in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category include. “On Becoming” by House Of Waters, “Jazz Hands” by Bob James, “The Layers” by Julian Lage and “All One” by Ben Wendel.
