Rakul Preet Singh & Jackky Bhagnani made a last-minute decision to match PM Modi’s invitation to the family to hold their wedding in India.

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are all set to marry in front of their friends and family on February 21 in Goa.

The couple had planned a wedding abroad but made the final decision to comply with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to the family to celebrate their wedding in India.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Rakul and Jacky first planned their wedding in the Middle East. After almost six months of good planning, everything is very good.

“However, following the call made by the Prime Minister of India in December 2023, urging

the rich and famous families to choose India as the venue for their major life events, Rakul and Jackky reflected that Their original plan was to move the wedding to India.  Mid-December, required full production. Despite the drastic changes, the couple embraced the change, motivated by their love for the country and their desire to contribute to its economic growth.

It was earlier reported that Rakul and Jackky have opted for a “no phone policy” during their two-day wedding. The couple are close friends from both the industries, as Rakul also worked in the southern film industry, she and her family will attend the wedding.
