1. Yashasvi Jaiswal scores 20 or more runs in opening over twice

Yashasvi Jaiswal became the first hitter in IPL history to score 20 runs or more in the opening over twice. Jaiswal hit 26 runs off KKR skipper Nitish Rana’s opening over on Thursday and 20 runs earlier in the IPL 2023 season against Delhi Capitals.

On Thursday, Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved the fastest fifty in T20 League history, off 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders.

3. Yuvraj Singh – 50 off 12 balls in 2007

At the 2007 T20 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh hit the quickest T20 international fifty in 12 balls against England. Six sixes were hit in one over off Stuart Broad.

4. Chris Gayle – 50 off 12 balls in 2016

In the Big Bash League 2016, Chris Gayle smashed a record-equaling 12-ball half-century for the Melbourne Renegades against the Adelaide Strikers.

5. Sunil Narine – 50 off 13 balls in 2022

Sunil Narine hit a 13-ball fifty for Comilla Victorians against Chattogram Challengers in the Bangladesh Premier League 2022.

6. Hazratullah Zazai – 50 off 12 balls in 2018

In 2018, Afghanistan batter Hazratullah Zazai hit a record-equaling 12-ball fifty while playing for Kabul Zwanan versus Balkh Legends in the Afghanistan Premier League.
