In a touching gesture, the pilot of the plane carrying the Chennai Super Kings players made a special request to former Indian captain MS Dhoni. In a video that went viral on social media, we could hear the pilot asking Dhoni to remain CSK’s captain for a few more years. The pilot also revealed several times during the flight that he is a big fan of Dhoni. The video is showing other passengers recording the pilot’s gesture for Dhoni.
“Please remain captain of CSK. I’m a big fan,” the driver said in a video circulating on various social networks. The current season could be Dhoni’s last in the IPL considering he is 41 and does not play for any other competitive cricket apart from Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni said last year he
would not retire until he played his last game at Chepauk Stadium, which he did in the 2023 edition when the IPL returned to its usual home-away format.
