Netflix told us about it in a video on February 29. The video shows Kapil Dev, who used to lead India, and Imran Khan, who was the captain of Pakistan, holding the World Cup trophy. They also showed clips of important Test matches and other big games between the two countries. People think this series will dig deep into why the rivalry is so strong, looking at more than just the cricket games.
People say the rivalry between India and Pakistan in cricket is one of the fiercest in the sport, like the one between England and Australia. The video also hinted that the documentary will talk about the history, geography, and politics behind this big rivalry.

While we wait for the Netflix series, we can look forward to another big match between India and Pakistan. It’s happening in June at the 2024 ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup in New York. This will be the first time they’ve played each other since the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. Last time they played, India won by seven wickets.
Because of political tensions, India and Pakistan don’t play each other much anymore. The last time they had a series was in 2012-13 when Pakistan visited India for 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The last time they played Test cricket was in 2008.
