On Friday, the Supreme Court suspended the suits against the film ‘Adipurush’ that were pending in several High Courts.

“Everyone is touchy about everything now…tolerance for films, books is declining,” the court observed as it denied a petition to remove the film’s CBFC accreditation. The petitioner claimed that the film offended religious sensibilities.
