Former Indian team captain and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has praised Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Amir Hussain Alone for his dedication to the game. Amir Hussain Alone made waves in India after his video, where he held his bat between his neck and chin while performing in the nets of Jammu Kashmir.
The 34-year-old wore Sachin Tendulkar’s Indian jersey. The former batting icon took to microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of Amir batting and yelled at him for doing it “impossible.” Sachin Tendulkar added that he wants to meet the Jammu and Kashmir cricketerand get an Indian jersey with his name on it. “And Amir made the impossible happen. It touched me watching this! It shows how much love and dedication he has for the game.
“The 50-year-old tweeted. “I hope to meet him one day and receive a jersey with his name on it. Well done for inspiring millions of people who love this sport.” Tendulkar added.
Amir Hussain is currently leading the Jammu and Kashmir team. Despite losing his hand at the age of 8, Amir maintained a lifelong passion for cricket. The Bijbehara-born cricketer has been playing the game professionally since 2013.
