The International Olympic Committee has condemned police violence against protesting Indian wrestlers, saying, “The treatment of the Indian wrestling athletes over the weekend was very disturbing.”
It insisted on a “unbiased, criminal investigation” of the sexual harassment charges levelled against WFI CEO Brij Bhushan Singh. WFI has also been threatened with a ban by United World Wrestling.
