India were declared winners of the SAFF U19 Women’s Football Championship in Bangladesh by points after an 11-11 draw on penalties.
The organizers of the game then announced that these two teams jointly won the competition. India took the lead in the 8th minute of the match and led at half time. Bangladesh pulled one back in injury time just before the whistle and the match went to penalties. Interestingly, all 11 players from both teams, including the goalkeepers, converted a goal.
