As Brisbane Heat vs Perth Scorchers is for the second time. The Perth Scorchers will once again be in the KFC BBL Finals. But this time they have a new challenger after the Brisbane Heat overcame one of the upsets of the BBL | 12. Last night they defeated the Sydney Sixers, to qualify for the finals in their second season. This summer, the competition comes alive with electrifying finishes, moments of controversy, huge crowds, and outstanding individual performances.

As both teams are finalists for the 2nd time, The Scorchers are targeting an unprecedented BBL title for the 5th time. This time they retain home-field advantage after topping the BBL|12 tables and beating the Sixers by seven goals at Perth Stadium last Saturday to secure the title on home soil. The Heat struggled to qualify and had to win three straight finals after finishing fifth in the regular season.

After being cut off from Western Australia for much of last season due to the pandemic lockdown. The Scorchers were forced to host the finals at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium. The Scorchers made a triumphant return to the Furnace this summer, winning seven of their eight games.
The Heat have won just once in January 2019 at Perth’s Furnace Stadium, when they won their third game after the last weekends of the Big Bash. Thefirst 34,000 publicly allocated tickets were sold out just four hours after they went on sale last Sunday. All guest passes and premium hospitality packages were also sold out. 50,000 viewers are expected for the game on Saturday.
A second, smaller batch of public access tickets went on Friday, February 3 at 10:00 AM A.M.A.S.T. on sale. and all sold out in less than an hour. The Scorchers secured the right to host the final last Saturday in front of the biggest crowd of the BBL|12 seasons, with 41,126 fans at Perth Stadium packed.
