Jessica Pegula, world number four, advanced to the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the first time after defeating Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko 6-1, 6-3.

Pegula has now advanced to the quarterfinals of each Grand Slam. In the next round, she will face unseeded Czech player Marketa Vondrousova, who reached the French Open final in 2019.
