Sunil Chhetri, India’s captain, has stated that he has not set a date for his retirement from football.

“I’m not sure when my last game…will be…generally, there are some parameters that I think about…whether I’m contributing to the team or not,” Chhetri explained. He also stated that when his family discusses his retirement, he quotes his “stats to them.”
