Daniil Medvedev, the world number two tennis player, was seen being knocked out of the French Open 2023 after losing in the first round against world number 172 Thiago Wild.

The French Open’s YouTube channel posted a video of Medvedev’s 6-7, 7-6, 6-2, 3-6, 4-6 defeat. Medvedev is the first second seed to fall in the first round of the French Open since Pete Sampras in 2000.
