Sydney Cricket Ground unveiled a string of goals led by Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara on Monday. They join New South Wales (and Australian) legends Donald Bradman, Alan Davidson, and Arthur Morris for honor at the legendary SCG.
April 24, Sachin’s birthday, has been selected as the opening date to celebrate Tendulkar’s 50th birthday and Lara 277’s 30th birthday in the SCG. His first Test century, although that Test was in January 1993 and the post office of Noble Bradman is the gate through which invited players enters the field. “Sydney Cricket Ground has been my favorite pitch outside of India,” Tendulkar quoted in his statement.

“Both players still have a deep affection for the SCG and continue to enjoy great popularity during their visits to Sydney. Hockley said: “As the cricket world rejoices Sachin Tendulkar’s 50th birthday. It is a fitting and timely gesture for SCG to recognize Sachin and Brian Lara as two legends of the international game with SCG records.
It is a motivation not only to foreign teams but to all players fortunate enough to walk on the holy turf of Sydney Cricket Ground for all future generations.”
