The official IPL 2023 broadcasters released a statement about Rohit Sharma’s controversial dismissal against RCB.
Several analysts argued that the three-metre rule was disregarded, and that Rohit was “unfairly” declared LBW by DRS.
The official broadcasters, however, presented a graphic showing that Rohit’s front foot was 2.9 metres away from the stumps, implying that the rule was not broken.
