
A big Auction of IPL will happen at the year-end
Indian Premier League is already the talk of the city despite being months away. The IPL 2023 Auction would happen in the city of Kerala state, Kochi on 23rd December. A complete variety of 405 players would go beneath the beat in the mini-auction. IPL proclaimed the player auction list through a media unleash on Tuesday.
The release explicitly says that “The TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction list is out with a total of 405 cricketers set to travel under the hammer. This will be in Kochi on coming 23rd of December.”
“Initially, a total of 369 players were shortlisted by ten groups from the initial list of 991 players. 36 further players were requested by different teams. Which are added to the ultimate list which makes a complete pool of 405 players. This list will be available for the TATA IPL 2023 Auction.”
“Out of 405 players, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players. Out of which again, 4 players are from associate nations. The overall capped players are 119, uncrowned players are 282, and 4 are from associate nations.

“Most of the 87 slots are currently offered with up to 30 being slotted for overseas players. Some players are having highest reserve value with 19 overseas players, those will be selected to be slotted within the highest bracket.”
“11 players are within the auction list with a base value of 1.5 crores. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the 2 Indian players from the 20 cricketers list. It is having a base price of INR 1 crore. The Auction can begin at 14:30 IST.”
Sunrisers Hyderabad would be the franchise with the largest purse heading into the mini-auction. KKR and RCB won’t have anything on their hands.
