The Football community & the sports world went into a frenzy when Cristiano Ronaldo decided to move to the Al-Nassar football club. The soccer legend had his career almost finished when he was left without a club after his controversial stay at Manchester United and even during FIFA 2022 he was yet to finalize a club.

The mega announcement came after a few weeks after the World Cup Al-Nassr made the mega announcement of Ronaldo joining them. This move not only gave him a new home in Asia but also the biggest contract of his entire career, the reported worth of the contract is over 200 million euros which has catapulted him to be the world’s highest-paid athlete. He has signed a 2.5-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club.

According to a report published in Forbes.com Ronaldo earned 136

million dollars in 2023. He has an on-field earning of 46 million dollars & an off-field earning of 90 million dollars. He is followed by Messi who has an earning of 130 million dollars. Ronaldo’s annual salary is $75 million whereas his contract is worth more than $219.98 million, according to The World’s 10 Highest-Paid Athletes 2023 list by Forbes. The Portuguese football star received a sponsorship from crypto exchange Binance, which enhanced his off-field earnings to $90 million in the past year.
